Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park is situated on Lake Diefenbaker and is a must-see for those that love the outdoors. Full of trails and activities for the whole family, Saskatchewan Landing provides an oasis amongst rolling hills and brilliant skies. There’s plenty to do here for families, solo travellers and couples. Here’s what you need to know about activities around Saskatchewan Landing!
Hit the Saskatchewan Landing Trails
The prairies are a truly remarkable ecosystem and getting the chance to experience them firsthand on a hike amongst the incredible trails all over Sask Landing is a treat. Explore the many trails, including the Rings, Ruts and Remnants Trail, if you’d like to learn more about the area and its incredible history. Ridges and Ravines and the Vista Prairie trail are the three most popular. There are also equestrian-friendly trails for you to venture with your trusty steed!
Beach Time
Lake Diefenbaker has some gorgeous sandy beaches along the west end of the park and the southern banks, making it the perfect spot for you and your family to set up a beach day. The sand is fine and the water is clean and beautiful, but please remember there isn’t a lifeguard on duty and to swim accordingly! Plan some sandcastle contests with the kids and enjoy a picnic on the beach or at the picnic tables.
