Have you ever heard of the term Glamping? You may be familiar with it, but if you’re not, we are here to answer all the questions and thoughts you may have! Welcome to Glamping Resorts — camping reimagined. Here is all you need to know about staying with us, and answering the burning questions; What exactly IS Glamping?
Glamping = Glamorous Camping
Glamping; A rapid growing trend that caught Cameron Wyatt’s eye when he founded Glamping Resorts, opening up our first property in 2019. Glamping allows outdoor recreation to meet modern luxury through an incredibly unique experience. Glamping looks different across the globe, and we are excited to be a part of the glamping movement in Alberta & Saskatchewan.
For those that want to experience the great outdoors, without having to worry about the process of packing, unpacking, and everything in between that takes away from the reason you went camping in the first place — to relax. This is where Glamping Resorts comes in. An experience so much more than just a nice a tent, our accommodation styles are sure to leave you changing your ways on how you camp, or should we say ‘glamp‘.
Glamping to us is a camping experience with exceptional comfort, which we express through our properties and accommodation options. We aim to create a revitalizing, comfortable and stylish camping experience for people of all ages.
Styles of Glamping
We offer different types of accommodation styles that all fall under the ‘Glamping’ category. Here is a quick glance at each:
Geo Domes
Our premium accommodations are designed with luxurious comfort in mind. Your
Geodesic Dome is outfitted with air conditioning and heating, as well as a solar fan
to assist on very warm days. The massive front window makes the most of the great
views in the area, and is outfitted with curtains for privacy and shade from the sun.
Safari Tents
What experience can be more magical than sleeping outside under the stars? Enjoy waking up to the sights, sounds and smells of nature in one of Saskatchewan’s top Provincial Park destinations. Our canvas-side Safari Tents are comfortable enough to rival a hotel room, and come with the added bonus on being lakefront on Lake Diefenbaker in the thick of a fully treed 5.6 acres of great outdoors.
The Big Oak Tent
Our newest addition to our accommodation fleet — the Big Oak Tent; exclusive to our Castle Provincial Park location. This also happens to be our first tent that can fit UP TO 6 people. Our premium accommodations are designed with luxurious comfort in mind. Your Glamping Big Oak tent is outfitted with air conditioning and heating, as well as a fireplace to assist with chilly evenings and rainy days. Your expansive side windows are placed to take advantage of the views, and can be closed for privacy.
Intrepid Tents & Bunkies
These are our more basic accommodation options. Our Intrepid accommodations are designed with comfort and a memorable camping experience in mind. Your Intrepid Tent is outfitted with an Endy mattress, dry kitchen, and easy access to your outhouse and shower space.
