FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

From 2023 forward, we will start to offer most of our locations as year-round or extended three-season accommodations. Our Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park location is open seasonally, between May and September each year.

For your comfort and safety, if outside temperatures drop below a safe operating temperature for our heating units, or if conditions are unsafe due to circumstances outside our control (road impassibility, wildfire, extreme weather, animal migration), the resort may close. If you have a reservation booked during one of these situations, your payment will be fully refunded for the untenable portion of your stay and you will receive a $50 gift voucher for use on a future reservation.

Accommodation rates vary by style of accommodation. Our seasonal rates can be found on our website here, and also by selecting your preferred date, resort location, and type of accommodation on our reservation system.

We do have a 2-night minimum at all of our resorts (3-night minimum for long weekends). Advance booking for single-night stays is not generally available except if we have an existing single-night gap between reservations. You may also contact us within 24 hours of your preferred date, and if we have an accommodation available, we will waive the 2-night minimum. We also occasionally offer single-night availability as part of a promotional period.

Glamping Resorts Ltd requires a 50% deposit for all reservations in order to hold your spot, with the remaining 50% due the day of check-in. Please see all our policies here.

Please see our cancellation policy here. Please also note that, if you are unable to make your reservation but are able to find a friend or family member who can take your place, we are happy to accommodate the change in guest. Please reach out to us to let us know.

We are currently reviewing options to provide WiFi for our guests; due to the more remote locations we build our resorts in, WiFi capabilities are somewhat limited. We do have signal boosters installed to support cell phone access and data. Our resort at Castle Provincial Park is outside cellular signal range.

We do offer some dynamic pricing for our shoulder and (new) winter season accommodations; these will show in the rate option drop-down menu on our reservation system if they are available. We also offer discounts for military, first responders, and healthcare workers – please reach out to us directly for more information.

Though our accommodations are spacious, there is a limited number of people allowed in each. Our Family-Sized Accommodations (Family Tents, Family Domes, Big Oaks) have three beds – one king sized and two smaller beds. The Family Tents have twin-sized bunk beds; the Family Domes and Big Oaks have double beds in the loft. Our Couple-Sized Accommodations (Couple Tents, Couple Domes, Intrepid Tents) have 1 king-sized bed. All pricing is based on accommodating 2 adults – additional adults can be included in a reservation for a $20/person/night fee. To accommodate additional persons, camping cots may be available for rent from each location for an additional fee.

Children 12 and under are not subject to additional charges except where additional bedding needs to be made available.

We love well-behaved pets at Glamping Resorts Ltd, and welcome up to 1 pet per accommodation with a $20/night pet fee. Our locations are home to a variety of wildlife, so please note that your pet must be on leash at all times and must not be left unattended in the units. You are required to pick up after your pet and make use of the appropriate garbage receptacles. Please see our pet policy here

Please see our “What’s Included” page here.

We do not offer food or beverage at this time, but we are happy to provide menus and information about restaurants and stores in the area!

All of our accommodations include a private firepit and BBQ area for cooking. All accommodations except the Intrepid Tents at Northshore Resort on Buffalo Pound Lake and Intrepid Bunkies (new) at Castle Provincial Park offer an apartment-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, single electric burner, and kettle. There are no stoves or ovens in our accommodations. Intrepid Tents and Bunkies include pots and pans and a camp coffee maker.

We currently allow reservations up to 12 months in advance, with a minimum of 2 days in advance. If you have a special event planned for a later date, please reach out to us directly to discuss availability and rates.

Thank you for choosing Glamping Resorts to celebrate your special occasion! Please make any special requests in the “Preferences” notes section of your reservation when you go to check-out. We will do our best to accommodate requests submitted at least one week in advance, and may reach out to you for additional information or with any questions.

Only accommodations with availability will show on our reservation system based on the dates and number of people you select to search. Fully-booked accommodations, and accommodations that allow fewer than the number of people you are searching for will show as Unavailable.

Due to the nature of our accommodations, we are unable to offer a truly barrier-free or fully accessible experience. Our canvas cabins, domes, and Big Oaks have a lip on entry to the unit, and a contained shower stall with base. The majority of units also have stairs to access the deck and main entry. The interior of most units does not offer the space necessary for a motorized or manual chair, and we are unable to offer fully-accessible washrooms. We are working to ensure that a portion of our units at each location offer a ramp for some mobility assistance. Our units with ramps will indicate accessibility on the unit description, but it is important to note that this indicates there is a ramp to the deck and parking very near to the entry way, not a fully-accessible unit. We continuously seek out additional ways to increase accessibility wherever possible.
