Glamping Resorts Ltd. was started by business entrepreneur Martin Bunting (co-founder of Sportchek) and CPA Don Schneider (owner and founder of Pharos Inc Accounting firm).

Glamping is the fastest growing segment of the $58B camping industry. It has grown from $2B in recent years and is predicted to reach $5.8 B in the next few years. Glamping is the industry term given to those that would prefer luxury accommodation while still being connected to nature. Our domes tents, cabin, etc. have in unit washrooms, showers, Endy beds, kitchenettes, air conditioning, large decks, picnic tables, barbecues and miles of land to roam around.  All you need to do is bring your personal essentials and food. We take care of everything else.

Glamping Resorts has three locations in its early-stage development. We have two locations in Saskatchewan (2019 and 2021 opening dates), and are developing our third location in Alberta (2023 opening).

Our Alberta location found in Castle Provincial Park on the north shore of Beaver Mines Lake has room to grow on our 110 acre parcel of heavily forested land in the heart of Castle Park, Alberta’s second largest provincial park. This property sits across the lake from Table Mountain which features a well-known and well-traveled trail to the top of the mountain. There are lots of rivers, trails, creeks, etc. and of course the lake we are on.  The area is renowned for its trout fishing as well as Castle Ski Hill a short 15 minute drive away, and the Crowsnest Golf Course approximately 30 minutes away.

Glamping Resorts is looking for expansion capital to grow the business.  The company has just started to break even, and we can very easily show how future units added on site generate future profits. All the assets are in great condition, and we have booking systems, control reports, etc. that can be expanded to multiple other locations.  

Performance reports, booking software, accounting framework, experienced marketing personnel are all in place. Our asset base is $6.5M. Historical financial statements and detailed forecasts are available upon signing of an NDA. A minimum investment of $50,000 and maximum of $1M is being sought. Success fees are available.

We are ready to put up another 13 units at Castle Glamping and have the consumer demand to support this move. We have the experience and vision to have investigated the province in general for other expansion sites. (we also have experience in working in expanding companies).  We have also worked closely with Alberta Parks and Travel Alberta to understand the government direction on tourism.
